Are you feeling creative?
We are not afraid of carrying out radical changes to our hire buses to meet our customers` specific requirements : a second staircase to improve visitor through-flow, a roof platform for a TV transmitter dish, a metallic pink paint job. Our designer can discuss your aims and help create the ideal concept for you!
Among our sizeable fleet we have many buses adapted to meet Continental regulations, not to mention experienced drivers and staff with linguistic skills, plus a network of field agents to take care of local organisational details. British buses – especially the classic Routemasters and Lodekkas – are a by-word for reliability; abroad, they are perceived as exotic, retro and are ultra effective branding and marketing tools.
We`ve done campaigns with our promotional buses in countries they were never designed for: to Israel for Colgate, coast to coast USA (and back) for Nokia. A Tour de France for Carrefour Supermarkets and a London Routemaster to Brazil for the Olympics. A classic Leyland to Beijing for BMW MINI and a veteran Bristol to Berlin for Hewlett Packard. Instant Nescafe to Italy and Pimms to Athens. A wide range of products, loads of style.
“For four years running the London Bus Export Company have provided CLIC Sargent with a double-decker to use as a vintage clothing shop at the Glastonbury Festival. The bus reflects the nature of the stock we sell and is a huge talking point, much loved by festival-goers. Coordinating delivery of a double-decker bus into the heart of a huge festival site is no small challenge, but whatever the weather we have always found the company’s drivers to be amazingly cheerful and willing to go the extra mile (literally), while the admin support is always professional and courteous. Using a vintage bus to showcase our shop really enables us to stand out from other stalls and has enabled CLIC Sargent to raise more than £30,000 to support children and young people with cancer”
Jeremy Lune, CLIC Sargent
